Soccer was my first passion project. Fueled by my parents' support and challenged by siblings, teammates, and coaches, I fell in love with the game. I was there at the Rose Bowl when the United States faced Romania in the 1994 World Cup, and after witnessing that passion firsthand, I knew the game would always be a part of me.

I earned my first coaching license as a young teenager. Not long after I could drive, I found the Ziemer Brothers' camps, a world-class education that shaped how I see player development to this day. The Ziemer Brothers brought the Franz Hoek methodology to Northern California, the same Hoek who coached alongside Johan Cruyff and Louis van Gaal at Ajax, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United, developing some of the greatest players in the world.

By my early twenties I had earned my United States Soccer Federation National C License, but new experiences created new passions, and after years of giving everything to the game, I was ready for a change. I spent the next two decades in the corporate world, building skills in data, process improvement, and operations that I never expected to bring back to the field. Unlikely teammates sometimes produce the best results.
